OPTICA Studio is an interdisciplinary design practice based in Upstate New York. The work ranges in scale from building design to interiors, objects, and installations. We eagerly pursue challenging projects and are driven to deliver the most sophisticated and relevant solutions possible. We approach our work with a deep sensitivity to form and material expression, recognizing that our interaction with the built environment has a profound impact on how we experience and participate in the world. Design involves an evolution of thought and is shaped by a dynamic exchange of ideas across reciprocal disciplines. Our work responds to these complexities through rigorous design and research protocols to create an aesthetically robust world.

We offer design services for residential and commercial projects. In addition to client-based work, the studio is actively engaged in competitions and self-initiated research, exploring the interaction between form, space, and culture.
